Gas Turbine Engine Repair (KG2 and KG5)
The intent of the gas turbine engine overhaul carried out by Dresser-Rand at its repair center in Kongsberg, Norway, is to restore performance and mechanical configuration to current new engine production standards. The scope of work for a typical engine overhaul is as follows:
Overhaul of the engine static parts can be carried out in other Dresser-Rand authorized repair centres in the world (see list) at client's convenience. In this case the rotor is sent for overhaul at the Kongsberg repair centre and reinstalled in the engine prior to delivery to the client.
